Good morning Eona and a Happy New Year to you and your family.
Yes, we had a fabulous time in VDL. The weather could not have been better as it was around 70 degrees every day and it only rained once, but that was throughout the night!
The Villa was absolutely fantastic and in such a fabulous location. I love your choice of the mixture of the furnishings. By the way, the picture of Terence Stamp and Jean Shrimpton is so realistic. At first, before I realised who they were, I assumed it was of you and your husband. Every time I walked in the kitchen I felt as though they were really watching me with their piercing eyes!!

We swam in the pool every day and also walked along the Beach most days. We found your Notes to be very helpful as we found Julia's Bar along the Beach. We had lunch there a couple of times. We also frequented the Breeze Bar and on Boxing Day we had Dinner at Monty's, the date of their re-opening. We also went in the Spike's Bar. On Christmas Day I actually made a full Xmas dinner with all the trimmings, but instead of turkey I cooked chicken. It was awesome to sit outside on the balcony having our sprouts!! That night my husband Tony lit the fire and we watched one of your movies, Steel Magnolias, which I could not believe you had as it is one of my favourite movies. Nothing better than after having a nice dinner and nice wine, to have a nice cry watching a film!!!!
We originally intended to drive up to Lisbon during our stay but could not be bothered as we were so comfortable at the Villa. However, we did drive out to Sangres and had a lovely day. It was not as windy as the last time we went there! It was also quite busy there.

We had a great restful and peaceful time ( which was our intention) as it was very, very quiet in VDL. I was rather surprised to see so few Golfers around though. My daughter came out to the Villa for 5 days and she absolutely loved the area and is planning to go back very soon, with her friends, for a Tennis holiday!

Carina was very helpful and such a nice young lady. She is very thorough in her Job and obviously very conscientious. One to keep I think!

Very private villa just a short walk to the supermarket and slightly further to the Pracca. You can tell the the villa is someone home rather than just a holiday let, the facilities really are first class, modern kitchen with more pots, pans, plates and cooking utensils you could wish for.Large comfortable lounge with ample sitting space. Villa was spotlessly clean (special mention to Carina) she cleans the villa 5 x a week and is superb! Private pool area with heated pool plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas plus natural shade. Hot tub, bbq x 2 free wifi the list goes on. We had a problem with the wifi, I spoke with the owners who said they would sort, an engineer was with us in 1 hr identified the fault and swapped the router - excellent service. There is a users manual in the villa very informative and just about covers everything. Would I return - rebooked within 48hrs of our return home.

From dealing with the owner through to staying in the villa, everything was geared to making our visit as easy and comfortable as possible. Mrs Beamish was extremely helpful and never failed to quickly respond to a call, text or email. As for the villa, having read previous reviews our expectations were high, and on arrival we were not disappointed, in fact, it still managed to exceed them. Every facility you can think of appears to be catered for, the kitchen facilities are excellent with all the appliances you could wish for. The whole villa is a home from home geared to helping you relax, from the lovely lounge area, through the comfortable beds in the bedrooms, to the pool area and the sun terraces. Given the opportunity we will be returning in the near future.

We have stayed in many villas in VDL but this one tops the lot- location, privacy, facilities, comfort, maid service, pool area, all superb it is beautifully appointed, well equipped, the owners have thought of everything and suffice to say we have booked again for next year. Eona and Barry are absolutely lovely and a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend it highly enough

I just wanted to get in touch to say how much we all enjoyed the stay in your villa. You are so lucky to own such a beautiful place and we are desperate to return already!

Sitting out on the terrace each evening having dinner and enjoying the peace of my little boy being in bed was just perfect! And he loved swimming in the pool.

Thank you so much for arranging the round of golf, Paul and Charlie said it was an amazing course and it sounds like the views were the best.

So we are home now in cold England with the heating turned up and a pile of washing to do but with very happy memories!
